SPACES, PLACES AND TRAILS is a selection of escorted trekking and Safari programmes for small groups. All years edition features several moderate adventure expeditions and nature tours in East Africa from the Kenyan Coastal Beaches to Volcano’s of western Uganda and the Highly terrains of Rwanda They usually include activities like hiking, boat trips, Gorilla trekking, Birding or Cultural.

Guides

Our friendly guides are familiar with the areas, know the ideal hiking trails for each season, the local history, most creatures, the nicest spots. The Ugandan west has so many enchanting and unspoiled regions to offer, our guides show you the natural treasures and attractions. They are not merely drivers but accompany you on all hikes, and just like their guests they are looking forward to relax by the evening campfires.

Transportation

You travel in a 4x4 comfortable, minibus in small groups of four to 9 passengers. Luggage and necessary equipment is stored in the back rack. The 2 and 3-week tours include transfers between airports and hotels.

Accommodation

Most tours start and end with a night in a luxury high end to a good middle class hotel. Why not spend an extra day in Uganda sleeping under the stars and the sky or in traditional African homes if including authentic safari in the itinerary.

Can I do it?

Of course! If you are reasonably fit, you can take part in all of the activities during our tours. Daily programmes are usually flexible. One day you may want to test your limits to the max and take it easy on the next day. Our guides gladly suggest alternate activities.

Never paddled a canoe?

No problem! The training before the trip gives you confidence and you quickly learn the necessary techniques by actually paddling on the craters of lake bunyonyi.
