10 day Uganda safari trip package

The highlight of the 10 day Uganda safari trip package takes you mountain gorilla to the Bwindi forest national park. Visit the Murchison fall national park the largest in Uganda. Walk with the Chimpanzees in Kibale forest and try counting the number of hippopotamus in Queen Elizabeth national park well known for having the largest number of hippos in Africa.

Day 1 Warm Welcome at Entebbe Airport

When you come through immigration and walk through the exit doors of the airport someone from Steady Safaris Limited will receive you and welcome you and assist you with luggage. You get driven to the accommodation where you will spend a night.

Day 2:Travel to Murchison falls national park

Uganda safari trip begins at 6:30am as you depart Kampala head to Murchison falls national park the largest national park in Uganda. Sometime attempting an afternoon game drive increases our chances of seeing game on the plains. Taking time to enjoy on the northern circuits searching for lions, elephants, giraffe and several other animals. Spend the night at Pakuba Lodge or Paraa Lodge

Day 3: Game drive, boat ride, game drive

6:30am take a 3hour game drive searching for game

2:00pm take a boat which takes you up river, it returns at 5:30pm

6:00pm take another game viewing activity with your driver.

Spend the night at Pakuba Lodge or Paraa Lodge.

Day 4: Travel to Kibale forest national park

7:00am take a 7hour drive to Kibale forest or fly to Kasese and drive 2 hours to your lodge in Kibale forest national park. Would you be interested in walking in the forest at night to see bush babies? Spend a night at Primate Lodge Kibale.

Day 5: Tracking Chimpanzee Visit Bigodi swamp

7:15am attend a short briefing with the wildlife park rangers,get grouped and start your chimpanzee tracking at 8:30am. You return to the lodge at 11:40 or later. After lunch we headout at 2:30pm for a walk in the swamp that offers large varieties of monkies. Meet with local peasants, school children return from school or village kids. Stay a night at Primate Lodge Kibale.

Day 6: Travel to Queen Elizabeth national park

8:00am a 2hour drive to Queen Elizabeth national park home of hippopotamus in Arica. Check into your lodge and rest the rest of the day in preparation of a night game drive. Overnight Mweya lodge or Kasenyi safari camp.

Day 7: Game drive, boat ride, game drive

The day begins early as we head for the mating ground of the Uganda kobs. We also look out for lions, elephants and other wild animals in their natural habitat. In the afternoon we take on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, which gives you the opportunity to enjoy some more of the African wildlife. Dinner and overnight at Simba Safari Camp.

Day 8: Drive to Bwindi forest

Enjoy a hike in Maramagambo Forest, famous for the Blue Lake and Bat Caves. Or go in search of the chimpanzees in Kyambura Wildlife Reserve, a beautiful gorge completely covered with tropical rainforest (optional, not included). In the afternoon departure to Bwindi, home of the endangered mountain gorillas. Dinner and overnight at Buhoma Community Bandas.


The highlight of your primate safari: a meeting with the gentle giants of Bwindi! Expect to walk a long distance in steep and muddy conditions, sometimes with rain overhead, before you encounter any gorillas. But it will definitely be worthwhile as you observe them closely while they eat, play and rest. A unique and unforgettable experience! Dinner and overnight at Buhoma Community Bandas.

Day 10: Drive to the airport

After breakfast we drive to Entebbe with occassional stops. Entebbe for departure
